Add page numbers, a header or a footer, such as 3 / 12 or Confidential, to every page.

Your files are never sent anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Drop one PDF file.
  2. Write the format, for example {n} / {total}, choose the position and size, and optionally the pages.
  3. Press Run and download the numbered PDF.

Questions and answers

What can the format contain?

Any text. {n} becomes the page's number and {total} the count of numbered pages. A format without them is a plain header or footer.

Can numbering start at a number other than 1?

Yes. Set the start number; the first selected page gets it and the rest follow.

Does it work on rotated or mixed-size pages?

Yes. Positions follow each page as it is displayed, so a landscape page in a portrait file is numbered at its own bottom edge.
